jai-dee-foundation-homeWhile sourcing raw materials for fashion company, Brian Johnson heart was touched by the people, culture and lifestyle of local villagers living in Northeast Thailand.

In response, he founded Jai Dee (“open heart”) Foundation. Jai Dee is a US non-profit, philanthropic, organization whose mission is to improve the lives of rural and mountain villagers in northern Thailand, Burma, Lao and Cambodia region by providing basic necessities-of-life.

Jai Dee mission is to provide basic necessities for life (clothing, food, clean water and hygiene) to benefit poor children and their families in rural villages in Thailand. Jai Dee Founder saw a need which needed to be met and self-funded (4) mission trips in 2012.

image60Jai Dee supports has adopted one school for (39) children in fishing village in Satahip, Thailand and home for (26) Thai/Karen hill tribe children in deep forest located in Watchan, Thailand on Thai/Burma border.

In 2013, Jai Dee visited H20 “Home-to-Orphans” located in Umphang jungle in northwestern of Miramar/Thai border.H2O is registered Thai charity run by Thai/Burmese run by couple Esther and Gum San. The orphanage is home to 50 children ages 7 to 17 equally split male/female.

H2O is located on 5 acres of land deep in Um Pahang forest of Thailand. H2O is a beacon of hope to stateless and parentless orphan children. It is difficult enough to understand the feeling of being abandoned but even more difficult understanding the feelings of being stateless.

Mali contributes a percentage of its profits (%) to Jai Dee to give back to the culture and people who produce Mali creations.

Jai Dee Foundation is a conviction of heart of the Mali founder, Brian Johnson to make a different in the world and to improve the quality of life for indigenous people in remote villages. Jai Dee mission is at the soul of Mali Fashions.
